A more progressive, dynamic turn from the French modern metal quartet.
A NEW WAY THROUGH THE TENSION
Following “Feel Me Burn,” French modern metal quartet UPDATE return with “Stuck”, a new single that pushes their sound into more progressive and dynamic territory.
The band have approached this release as a chance to stretch their writing: to let the music move, change shape and build momentum while retaining the intensity that introduced them to listeners on “Feel Me Burn.” “Stuck” is out now on streaming platforms.
FFO : Bring Me The Horizon ; Linkin Park ; Chevelle ; Landmvrks ; (early) Muse…
…For the record…
UPDATE is a modern metal band blending the intensity of the genre with the efficiency of 2000s alternative rock.
Inspired by Linkin Park, Bring Me the Horizon, LANDMVRKS and early-Muse the project distinguishes itself through bilingual songwriting (FR/EN), exploring introspective themes — inner struggle, vulnerability, resilience — through an approach that is both aggressive and melodic.
Synth layers add depth without softening the edge. Between tension and release, their music moves through dark atmospheres where emotion remains central. A direct and contemporary positioning, designed to resonate as much in France as internationally.
