Since forming in 2009, Dead Tree Seeds have established themselves as a force within the French thrash metal scene. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Slayer, Testament and Kreator, the band have spent more than fifteen years sharpening their own take on the genre, releasing several records and sharing stages with acts such as Angelus Apatrida, No Return and Nervosa.

Originally released in 2020, this album marked an important chapter in Dead Tree Seeds’ evolution, combining the raw aggression and breakneck energy of their old-school thrash roots with increasingly sharp songwriting, technical precision and a more powerful, contemporary production.

Its DNA can be heard throughout what followed. The band would reconnect even more explicitly with their origins on the 2022 EP ‘Back To The Seeds‘ before pushing their sound forward again with 2024’s ‘Toxic Thoughts‘ — further refining the balance between speed, aggression, melody and technicality that has become central to their identity.
