Michigan Stoner Metal Trio Reflects on a Monumental Year of Riffs, Road Miles, and Rising Momentum
After a blistering run of shows across the East Coast, Midwest, and Southern U.S., Grave Next Door has wrapped up their 2025 tour in support of their critically praised sophomore album Sorry No Candy, released via Black Doomba Records. With unforgettable sets at festivals like Maryland Doom Fest (Final Year) and Appalachian Noise Fest, as well as packed club dates across multiple states, the band solidified their place as a rising power in the underground stoner and doom metal scene.
Formed by brothers Patrick (drums) and Anthony Salerno (guitar/vocals), and joined by newest member Luke Strand on bass, the Michigan trio tore through their tour with signature grit and thunderous intensity. Tracks like “Solitary Cell” and “Blood Moon Hymn” became crowd favorites, further establishing Sorry No Candy as a defining statement of the band’s growth.
The album, produced once again by Tommy Stewart of Black Doomba Records, showcases the band’s evolution with tighter arrangements, deeper grooves, and themes that hit hard—ranging from inner chaos and mortality to the raw truths of addiction and survival. Live performances reflected the emotional weight of the record, with fans across the country echoing the energy and catharsis at every stop.
Grave Next Door’s relentless commitment to the road and to their music has earned them a loyal and growing fanbase, known as the Grave Nation. With new music already in the works and plans for international dates under discussion, the future is loud, heavy, and very much alive for this doom-driven powerhouse.
