Alt-pop/rock band TURNING JANE returns with their latest single, “Be A Doll”, delivering a sharp, unapologetic track that blends attitude, energy, and undeniable rock ’n’ roll swagger.
With “Be A Doll”, Turning Jane taps into the tension between expectation and independence, turning the familiar command to conform into something altogether more rebellious. The song captures the band’s knack for pairing infectious hooks with a fearless point of view, creating a track that feels both immediate and unmistakably their own.
Rather than simply asking listeners to play along, “Be A Doll” challenges the role itself. There’s an edge beneath the song’s catchy exterior — a push and pull between being told who to be and deciding for yourself.
Turning Jane brings that attitude to life with a sound rooted in the raw energy of rock while embracing the melody and accessibility of modern alternative music. “Be A Doll” is built for turning up loud: confident, confrontational, and impossible to ignore.
“Be A Doll” is about taking the expectations people put on you and turning them on their head. It’s got attitude, but there’s a real message underneath it.”— Turning Jane
The release follows Turning Jane’s commitment to creating music that is energetic, emotionally direct, and unafraid to challenge the status quo. With “Be A Doll,” the band delivers another statement of intent — one that invites listeners to turn it up, sing along, and make their own rules.
“Be A Doll” by Turning Jane is available NOW on ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS.

Turning Jane is a four-piece rock band from Los Angeles redefining modern rock for a new generation. Self-described as “Hot Girl Rock, ” they fuse classic rock riffs, punk attitude, and undeniable pop hooks into a sound built for a young, insatiable audience.
At its core, Turning Jane is about friendship, freedom, and carving your identity in a world that constantly tries to define it for you. Before industry co-signs or headline slots, the band was cutting their teeth in dive bars they weren’t old enough to enter, earning real fans the hard way and commanding every room they stepped into.
Sonically, Turning Jane lives at the intersection of Joan Jett grit, Velvet Revolver power, and No Doubt-level hooks. This is a band built on chemistry you can feel the second they hit the stage.
●Taylor – a commanding frontwoman with explosive vocals that define the band’s presence
● Izzy – award-winning guitarist with a signature tone and instinct for unforgettable riffs
● Jasmine – bassist anchoring the sound with groove and depth
● Jordi – powerhouse drummer with punk roots, now performing globally with Olivia Rodrigo
They’ve built a reputation as a must-see live act, headlining iconic Los Angeles venues like the Whisky a Go Go, performing at The NAMM Show, and supporting John 5 across rock clubs nationwide. No matter the stage, Turning Jane leaves as the band people talk about the next day.
