‘Bombs Over Europe’ surges with intense energy and raw emotions, channeling rage and fury. The song’s lyrics center on the war in Ukraine and the devastating bombings by Russia. With Russia’s nuclear forces on standby, the looming threat of nuclear warfare and a potential World War 3 haunts the narrative. This ongoing cycle of destruction raises the chilling possibility of humanity’s annihilation in a never-ending spiral of hatred.
Recorded with Michael Heiliger at Presskopp Studio, the track’s production took a new direction. The mix gives more prominence to the bass guitar, adding a darker, more oppressive sound, closer to Black Metal and Blackened Death Metal. Once again, MAGEFA’s relentless fury echoes through the drums of war.

Biography
MAGEFA, a formidable Death Metal band hailing from Frankfurt, Germany, derives its name (pronounced with a hard G) from the Hebrew word for “Plague.” Drawn from influences such as Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, and Death, the band embarked on its musical journey in 2014. In 2016, MAGEFA unleashed a powerful 3-track Demo titled “A Peek Into Human Bodies,” offering a glimpse into their dark and ferocious sound. The release laid the foundation for their future endeavors. The following year, in 2019, the band delivered their EP “New Era Of Darkness,” which further solidified their place in the extreme metal scene. This release allowed their compositions to reach a wider audience, establishing MAGEFA’s presence in the metal community. Their momentum only intensified with the release of “Instrument Inside” in 2020, captivating fans with its relentless and intricate brutality. This album quickly gained recognition as a fan favorite, solidifying MAGEFA’s position as a force to be reckoned with. In 2021, MAGEFA continued their sonic onslaught with the release of their EP “Exenteration.” The intense and unyielding tracks on this release garnered over 240K streams on Spotify alone, solidifying their growing fanbase and leaving a lasting impact on listeners. On March 12, 2022, the band released the single “Back To The Front,” available on all digital platforms.
This release served as a gesture of support to Ukraine in their war against Russia, showcasing MAGEFA’s dedication to using their music for meaningful causes. Continuing their relentless output, MAGEFA unleashed the single “Overdose” on July 27, 2022, further cementing their reputation for delivering visceral and uncompromising metal. January 6, 2023, marked the release of their third single from the upcoming EP “Pathology Calls,” showcasing their unyielding dedication to pushing the boundaries of their genre.
