Austria’s groove metal wrecking crew My Dark Fate return swinging hard with their brand new single, “Frightened To The Core,” released April 17, 2026. About the Band
Founded by guitarist and songwriter Andreas Maierhofer of Lost Dreams, My Dark Fate has steadily carved out their identity with a crushing blend of groove metal and melodic death metal. After a full reboot in 2025, the band emerged sharper and heavier than ever, now featuring Marina (vocals, bass), Stefan (growls, guitar), Christian (drums), and Andreas (guitar, songwriting, production).
With a sound rooted in decades of Austrian metal experience, My Dark Fate delivers a cinematic, emotionally charged assault that will resonate with fans of Lacuna Coil, Jinjer, In Flames, Amaranthe, and Arch Enemy.
