November 28th, 2024 marks a major milestone for southeastern Ohio’s extreme metal trio, Plaguewielder, as they unveiled their music video for “Sadness”, now featured on the highly acclaimed metal platform, NO CLEAN SINGING. Known for championing the finest in underground metal, NO CLEAN SINGING offers the perfect stage for Plaguewielder’s haunting visuals and sound.
The video is a precursor to the band’s forthcoming fourth album, In Dust & Ash, set for release on January 8th, 2025. With this new work, Plaguewielder continues to redefine their sound, blending post-black metal, gothic metal, and heavy metal influences to create a melancholic yet powerful sonic experience.
