OFFICER LUCIFER’s transmission continues with the new single and video, “Swallow”. The track presents an uncompromising criticism of manufactured misinformation that is designed to confuse and disorientate perceptions of reality. “Swallow” follows the release of “Far From Right” featuring Page Hamilton of HELMET.

OFFICER LUCIFER’s sound is rooted in raw aggression born from a fusion of genres including metal, punk, grunge, and Latin rhythms. “Swallow” unleashes an anguished-fueled attack of gritty distortion, driving rhythms, and melodic vocal melodies performed by Yves Myr. The song exists within OFFICER LUCIFER’s narrative world where engineered hybrids rise up against their human creators, mirroring real-world cycles of control, corruption, and resistance.

The lyrics for “Swallow” expose a cycle of bombardment; the continuous exposure to lies, biased perspectives and fear mongering. The song confronts the unquestioned consumption and ingestion of these fabrications that leads to a perspective of existence and selfhood that is an illusion.

Drums and bass for “Swallow” were performed by Andrés Benavides and Pancho Tomaselli and recorded by Daniel Pasquel at La Increible Sociedad – Quito, Ecuador. The track was mixed by Jesse Gander at Rain City Recorders and mastered by Jamie King.
