Retro-Soul Band VIBRAFONICS Drops Rockin’ Trippy Single “14 Days and 14 Nights”

Supporting their forthcoming debut album California Hi-Life, VIBRAFONICS (Philly soul meets LA cool) announce the release of their second single, “14 Days and 14 Nights” on April 3, 2026. It will be available on all major streaming platforms.

What if Dave Grohl, James Brown, and Trey Anastasio wrote a song together?

It would probably sound a lot like “14 Days and 14 Nights”. The structure is all JB, with hard-hitting horns, slamming breaks and wailing vocals. Grunge it up with some nasty-distorted lead guitar a la Grohl. Then throw in a trippy, Phish-worthy bridge just to take it somewhere way out there.

“I’ve got so many musical influences floating around in my head,” says Vibrafonics singer/songwriter/guitarist Craig Zund. “Sometimes I don’t even realize who I’m inspired by when I’m writing a new song. But once it’s recorded I have that ah-ha moment.”

Listeners can stream “14 Days and 14 Nights” on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major platforms on April 3rd. The band’s debut album California Hi-Life will release in mid-May on a limited vinyl pressing available directly from the band!
