Just back from tour in Mexico, LUCHA LUNA are releasing their debut album on Friday, January 16th, 2026. Following their singles “Marca del Sol” and “Manzana Prohibida,” the album “BRILLA BRILLA” is a boisterous explosion of cumbia, 808s, experimental psychedelia and punk vibes.
Lucha Luna is a new Seattle duo mixing latin percussion, heavy bass, punk vocals and reggaeton flows into an energetic expression of joy and rage. Formed in the unrest of 2025, Lucha Luna speaks to resistance, liberation, community and healing.
Composed of Eva Vazquez (Toxic Tears, Savi) and Thomas Arndt (Day Soul Exquisite, Another Magic), and co-produced by Samuel Wesner, the group’s debut EP comes out January 16th, 2026.
