Austrian thrash metal juggernauts SILIUS return with a vengeance, unleashing the crushing new single and video “Columbian Necktie,” the first salvo from their forthcoming full-length album Beneath the Flesh—dropping June 6, 2025 via HellBound Records and Running Wild Productions.

“Columbian Necktie” is a no-holds-barred riff onslaught—pure aggression soaked in groove, seething with rage, and executed with surgical precision. The accompanying video matches the intensity, capturing the band’s raw power in full force.

With a sound forged from the classic weapons of Exodus, Pantera, Slayer, and Testament, SILIUS sharpen their thrash and groove roots into something uniquely devastating. Produced and mixed by Andreas Reinhart, recorded between Subsoundstation Studio and the band’s own HQ in Telfs, and mastered by Kristian Kohlekeller Studios,

Beneath the Flesh is engineered for maximum impact.

Cover art for the album is by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design), with band photography by Phillip Schöpf. All tracks written and arranged by Haui/SILIUS, with lyrics by Benji Wellna & Martl Storch—except for their thunderous homage to Black Sabbath’s “Solitude.”
