German Black Metal act Simple Existenz returns with «Trümmer», an intense and desolate work translating themes of isolation, decay, and existential emptiness into raw sonic landscapes. The album was entirely recorded, mixed, and mastered in a private home studio – uncompromising, intimate, and direct.

The project is led by ZORN, guitarist and co-founder of the influential band “Nagelfar”, who helped define German Black Metal between 1993 and 2002 with landmark albums like Hünengrab im Herbst (1997), Srontgorrth (1999), and Virus West (2001). After the band’s deliberate dissolution at its creative peak, ZORN launched Simple Existenz – a solo project praised since 2010 for its emotional depth, stylistic range, and unwavering authenticity.
