SLADE BROOKS serves up electro-pop instrumental "House"

Following up his 2024 single “Chemistry” SLADE BROOKS is back with a brand new single off his upcoming EP titled “The Missing Piece of My Darkened Heart”.

The new single is a Pop/EDM instrumental named “House”, featuring dance style beats with distorted bass and classical piano melodies. Brooks shares, “it’s an imaginary timelapse of one’s life around domestication from the perspective of “home life” from beginning to end.”

Clocking in at just over two minutes the single follows the modern “short song” format that will get you on the dance floor and have you wishing for more.

The EP title “The Missing Piece of My Darkened Heart” was named after the artwork Slade created. “I created the album cover after a breakup and I just thought it was also a good title for this body of music. The overall theme is about people longing for someone or something to fill that hole in their lives.”

“House” will be released on digital streaming with an accompanying music video on Friday Oct. 17th. SLADE BROOKS new EP “The Missing Piece of My Darkened Heart” will be released in early 2026.
