Why does humanity treat each other the way they do? That is the overriding theme
of Fifteen Stitches‘ new album ‘Beyond The Wall’
The second release by the Washington South Sound band, after their 2018 EP ‘The
Void’, delves deeper into the human condition with heavy hitting music, thought provoking lyrics and
a freshly energized lineup. It was released in December 2024.
Tim Perdue (vocals), Chris Pasinetti (guitar), Rob Field (bass) and drummer James Ortega weave a
powerful sound ranging from pummeling rock to more atmospheric songs. The lyrics of singer Tim
Perdue both examine humanity and give hope that we could be better to each other — if only we can
find a way out of the chaos born of those in power.
The lifeblood of the Pacific Northwest music scene flows through the band with a wide array of
influences from heavy rock, prog, glam, and grunge to the birth of rock itself.
Rob Field comes from the band Cries of Tammuz, a popular goth band with progressive elements
from England, and local band Painted Window who performed in the northwest during the early
2000’s.
Chris Pasinetti has played guitar in many local bands: Nothing Sounds Good, Dem Zaing, and hillbilly
punk band SixGun.
Notably, drummer James Oretega performed with Don Wilson of surf rock and garage band legends
The Ventures.
Tim Perdue currently sings for Fifteen Stitches and Tremor Cats.

NWOBHM survivors SALEM UK return with
„Outer Limits” full-length, „Rock You” video
released

Salem is a hard rock/heavy metal band from Hull, England. The band was formed in
1980 by guitarist Paul Tognola and drummer Paul Conyers after the split-up of Ethel
the Frog. They had a three-year run, releasing a few demos and a 7″ single.
After 27 years they reactivated for a second run of seven years, during which time
several new recordings were released. In late 2017 Salem re;eased the album
“Attrition”; shortly afterwards the band split. Original members Simon Saxby (vocals)
and Adrian Jenkinson (bass) continue as Salem UK.

In 2020 Simon and Adrian were joined by Dan Ellis (drums), and in 2021 by Jonny
Hirons, aka Ringmaster Bones (guitar). The band has been gigging and recording
ever since.
Over the years Salem has headlined in Dubai and has played festivals such as
Muskelrock (Sweden), Headbangers Open Air and BAAM (Germany), Heavy Metal
Night (Italy), Rock You to Hell (Greece), Heavy Metal Maniacs (Netherlands), and
more recently Maryland II in London.
They have played on the same stage as The Sensational Alex Harvey Band and The
Sweet in the 1980s, latterly with Oliver Dawson Saxon, Q5, Tygers of Pan Tang,
Diamond Head, Rock Goddess, and Chris Holmes (WASP), and more recently with
Avenger and Tailgunner.

Salem UK is currently signed to Rude Awakening Records for their latest studio
album, Outer Limits, which was released in November 2024.

US death/thrashers Infernal Seer return with
the title track off their upcoming “Curse Of The
Seer” sophomore album

Infernal Seer is a Death/Thrash metal band from the desert waste lands of Southern New
Mexico.
Formed in 2013, the band has recorded a 3-song EP in the same year and a 6-song album
“Blackened World” in
and has shared the stage with Morbid Angel, Exmortus, Goatwhore, Mobile Death Camp,
Black Crown Initiate, and more. New album “Curse of the Seer” out in May 2025!
