Brian Wheat, founder, and bassist of the multi-platinum rock band Tesla, has announced an exciting new musical venture alongside AleX, a rising singer-songwriter from the UK. Their collaboration, Violet Breed, marks a fresh chapter in both artists’ careers, blending emotive and honest songwriting with a dynamic rock/pop sound.

Over the past five years, Brian and AleX have been crafting an album inspired by their personal experiences, creating music that resonates across generations. Drawing from influences such as The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Queen, and My Chemical Romance, Violet Breed infuses classic and modern rock elements into its signature style.

Brian’s career spans over four decades, from performing to authoring his autobiography, Son of a Milkman, to managing Tesla and side projects like SouL MotoR. His enduring success has led to countless sold-out tours worldwide and a legacy as a driving force in rock music.

For the past ten years, Brian has served as a mentor to AleX, producing and co-writing songs while sharing invaluable industry insight.
