Melodic Death Metal project BURYING
ANGELS debiut with „Cathedral Of Chaos” EP
featuring James Murphy, Christopher Amott,
Peter Wichers and Andy LaRocque

Burying Angels is a project of a Chicago-based guitarist Mark Palangio.
“I started playing guitar when I was 17 years old after seeing Iron Maiden live
footage from Rock In Rio. The way all 3 guitarists interacted on stage and
played solos and harmonies together was the coolest thing I had ever seen!
Maiden is still my favorite band of all time, but as I got more into metal, I
discovered all of the Swedish melodic death metal bands and fell in love. The
Jester Race was the first “extreme” metal album I heard and it blew my mind.
Still my number 1 album to this day, I always loved everything about that old
school Gothenburg sound. The low tunings, the harmonies, the melody lines,
the growling vocals, just the amazing melding of heaviness with melody.”

„Cathedral Of Chaos”

On the backhground:
“I had to stop playing guitar around 2009 when I got a blood clot in my left
pointer finger and almost had to have it amputated. Luckily I kept my finger,
but I didn’t know if I would ever play guitar again and I didn’t until 2022 when
my daughter asked me if she could get one. I bought her a 3/4 scale guitar and
figured I would get one so I could teach her. The first guitar I had owned and
played since 2009 when I sold everything I had. I was obsessed with playing
when I was younger and that same passion came back to me when I started
messing around with some songs and riffs I had written 20+ years ago when I
was in college.
Those songs and riffs were always meant to be the Cathedral Of Chaos EP and
I honestly never thought I would finish it. Not only did I finish it, I got so many
of my musical idols and metal legends to help me on the project. Something I
had wanted to put together since I was a kid is finally a reality and I could not
be more proud of how it turned out.

Getting the chance to work with legends like Fredrik Nordstrom, Mattias
Eklundh, Andy LaRocque, Peter Wichers, Chris Amott, James Murphy, and all
of the guys that helped me was and still is a surreal thing.
Everyone I worked with was so kind and it was such a fun project, I am
planning to write and complete 6 more songs by the end of 2026 that will make
up a complete album with the 4 tracks from Cathedral Of Chaos. I plan to get
even more of my music heroes involved on each track and can’t for it to be
finished!”

90’s inspired Swedish melodic death metal from the heartland of America.

LA hardrocker CRYMWAV cover Agent
Orange’ „Everything Turns Grey”,
heralding debut album

Crymwav, pronounced “Crimewave,” formed in 2022 in Los Angeles after Smash
Fashion disbanded.
Members Roger Deering, Lloyd Stuart Casson, Greg Rogers, and Bruce Braddock combine
punk, post-punk, gothic rock, and NWOBHM influences, drawing inspiration from bands like
Hawkwind, The Clash, Killing Joke, Thin Lizzy, and UFO.
Deering began shaping Crymwav’s style during a London stay, focusing on darker material,
and the band’s debut EP “24/7” was released in November 2023, highlighting their dark
aesthetic.
The self-released EP “24/7” received positive critical acclaim and achieved international
airplay. Guitar World Magazine characterized it as “Channeling the furious fire of Motörhead
and UFO, cut through with the melodic sensibilities of Cheap Trick. Every track sound like an
instant stadium-filling anthem.” Building on this momentum, Crymwav released the single
“Contagious” in November 2024, previewing their upcoming full-length album. The song,
notable for its danceable qualities and memorable hooks, reached the top ten playlists

worldwide.

In February 2025, Crymwav released “Sense of Adventure” accompanied by a video directed
by Joe Cardamone (The Icarus Line). The track features powerful gothic influences and
resonated strongly with audiences, earning extensive airplay and accumulating over 95,000
views within four months. March 2025 saw Crymwav headline at the renowned Cart and
Horses in the UK, followed by Pat Muzingo (Junkyard-Decry) joining as drummer in May
2025.
In October 2025, Crymwav released their third consecutive single, “Speak No Evil,” a potent
commentary on big tech and modern-day disillusionment, featuring Roman Jugg (ex-The
Damned) on keyboards for added gothic depth. The release continues to garner international
playlist additions, complemented by a music video directed by Joe Cardamone, marking the
band’s most ambitious visual project to date.

In March 2026, Crymwav returned to the UK for several performances, including a
headlining appearance at Hope and Anchor London. A cover of Agent Orange’s “Everything
Turns Gray” is scheduled for release on May 29, 2026.

The bands much anticipated full Lenth, titled “Melt the Ice” is scheduled for summer 2026.

Brace yourself …there’s a Crymwav coming…

French stoner rockers MYAR promote their
debut album with “Ham Pie” video

Myar is a word that cracks like an old Northern curse, an echo from the bar counter, dust in your
throat. It sounds like “milliard,” a typical local exclamation, shouted when things get out of hand.
Formed on the black lands of the North, the quartet follows in the tracks of stoner rock and desert
psych, with raw energy and powerful riffs. Their compositions, infused with psychedelia and hypnotic
grooves, take the listener on a sonic journey rich in contrasts, reflecting a constant musical
evolution.
Mystical, heavy, rough, almost doom-like. A blend of forgotten nature and metallic ruins, as if the
North had been abandoned by the gods, but its sound still resonates there.
Myar are :
Nina (bass)
Victorien (guitar, Vocals)
Paul (guitar)
Julien (drums)

American heavymetallers UNKNOWN return with “Ardennes Offensive”, the first
single off their upcoming sophomore album.

Unknown (CT, USA) forge their sound from the same iron that shaped the golden era of
heavy metal. Crushing riffs smoothed out with soaring melodies and emotive vocals — that’s
the mission, and the band executes it without apology or irony. Formed by guitarist and
primary songwriter Aamir, The Unknown channel the spirit of the genre’s most enduring
architects while carving out a sound that is entirely their own.
The band released their debut record,Vanishing Point on GoldenCore Records, the German
label responsible for some of the most respected reissues and new releases in the traditional
metal underground. That relationship was built on the strength of the music alone, and it set
the tone for everything that followed.
Now Unknown return with Ardennes Offensive, the first single off their most ambitious and
cohesive work to date. Conceptually driven, sonically relentless, and grounded in real human
experience, the album marks a significant leap forward. Anchored by vocalist and songwriter
Matt Fisher, guitarists Aamir and Michael Dale, and bassist Andic Salcedo, this is a band
hitting their stride.

For fans of Jag Panzer, Manilla Road, Iron Maiden, and Accept.

Gürschach DEBUT NEW SINGLE “THE
CANCER IS YOU!” – ABSOLUTELY
NOTHING OUT JUNE 12TH

San Francisco Progressive Metal act Gürschach has debuted “The Cancer is You!”,  their
third single off their upcoming album Absolutely Nothing due out on June 12th. Released on
May  15th, this release is the final pre-release single before their upcoming album release
show and tour. The track is paired with an accompanying lyric video showcasing the track’s
furious and urgent lyrics on full display within the track artwork. With its high energy, twisting
and turning structure, and harshly sung vocals, Gürschach’s “The Cancer is You!” is an
unbridled all-out attack of pure metal rage to a bleak modern world.
Recorded at Altman Studios, and mixed and mastered by Ulrich Wild (Dethklok, Slipknot,
Raven Black), “The Cancer is You!” stands apart from the group’s other singles from this
release. Opening with a primal scream from front man X, this track features blast beats, buzz
saw riffs, and a borderline death thrash edge while still maintaining the band’s signature
sound. Its driving Thrash riffs harken back to the band’s roots in San Francisco Metal, while
their progressive edge drags the listener through brutal twists and turns with the G-Force of a
rollercoaster! Wealth inequality, class divide, and generational abuse fuel the themes of the
angriest song Gürschach has ever released by far. Feel the fury of a generation left behind!
Gürschach’s second full length album Absolutely Nothing will be out on all major streaming
services on June 12th. The band is set to release the CD at the legendary DNA lounge in
San Francisco with Nox Sinister, Barbarous (Creator Destructor Records), and Crepuscle.
The band plans to shoot a music video as part of the show, so new and longtime fans of the
band alike will not want to miss it!  June will also see the band depart on the absolute
heathenry tour with Nox Sinister, seeing the band return to the Pacific Northwest in the
Rockies for the first time since 2023. The band aims to tour extensively on this new release,
and they aim to be at a venue near you soon. Buy their shirts!

NOX SINISTER DEBUT THREE NEW SINGLES
DUBBED “THE HEATHENRY TRILOGY” –
“TELL ME, FATHER,” “FAUN,” AND “THE
PLAGUE NOCTURNAL” STREAMING NOW!

Los Angeles Theatrical Metal tyrants Nox Sinister have released three new singles in
anticipation of an upcoming album. Released over the months of fall and winter, Nox Sinister
brought forth “Tell Me, Father” alongside a music video, Faun, and The Plague Nocturnal.
These three tracks are to serve as the foundation for their next studio LP.
The music video for “Tell Me, Father” is imbued with classic horror movie elements that pair
with effusive blasphemous imagery. While championing anthemic choruses and sharp, catchy
riffs, Nox Sinister unleash their signature brand of a theatrical heavy metal horror show. The
video seeks to refute the dogma of holy men, criticize the power structures of religious
institutions, and spit in the face of theocratic nationalism. This song and video are a rallying
cry for those who have deconstructed their institutions of faith and a call to arms for those
who have yet to do so. Wearing the aesthetic of a modern, neon lit terror flick, Nox Sinister
harkens back to the classic, sacrilegious iconography of shock rock past.
Recorded in the Bay Area with Juan Urteaga (Testament, Exodus) with mixing and mastering
by Matt Graff, these three singles showcase Nox Sinister’s sonic versatility within their own
catalogue. From the intricate compositional stylings of Faun to the punishing thrash riffs of
The Plague Nocturnal, Nox Sinister’s new singles are tales of sin and sacrilege meant to bring
forth the carnality and dark desires of the listener. Playfully dubbed “The Heathenry Trilogy,”
these three singles are available now with more to come on the horizon. Nox Sinister will
embark on the Absolute Heathenry tour as co-headliners with Gürschach to promote these
new songs. This tour will see the band returning to parts of the pacific northwest while also
conquering new territory. Nox Sinister’s live performances are full of dark spectacle and
heavy metal horror theatrics. Certainly not to be missed.

Stay Sinister.
