LUTHER Releases Debut EP Next Time Send a Killer — A Fierce Statement of Survival, Defiance, and Genre-Bending Energy

The alternative metal scene has a bold new contender. LUTHER, the genre-bending Berlin-based outfit, has officially released their explosive debut EP Next Time Send a Killer, now available everywhere. Fusing the blistering energy of metalcore and djent with the edge of trap metal, the two-track EP hits hard both sonically and thematically, confronting betrayal, isolation, and resistance with unapologetic force.

The lead single, “Next Time Send a Killer,” is accompanied by a visually striking official music video, filmed by acclaimed videographer Christopher Hesse (STRANGEWORKS). Set against the vivid backdrop of Berlin’s nightlife, the video showcases the EP’s theatrical and emotionally raw energy and is available now for viewing.

Produced by Riff Grimez (aka Brian Spencer) and mixed/mastered by Enrico Tiberi , the EP delivers a surgically precise yet emotionally unhinged soundscape. Gritty grooves, unrelenting guitars, and soul-wrenching vocals collide across both tracks, bringing to mind acts like Poppy , Kim Dracula , and Thrown —yet LUTHER’s identity remains unmistakably their own.
