Bio: Pyre of Descent is an inward pilgrimage—diving into the bottomless pit of one’s own inner darkness. Away from the world of forms and into the realm of mind and mindlessness, symbols and archetypes; and then even further beyond, where distinction, definition and boundaries fall away; where all and naught converge as one and dance the dance of eternality.
In September 2026, Pyre of Descent’s debut album is released by Rubeus Obex on double-vinyl and Swiss Dark Nights on compact disc. ‘Albedo’, as it is titled, reflects esoteric experiences of abysmal awe in terrible enchantment. The devotional songs on the album are based around the themes of light, inmost alchemy and the spiritual ecstasies in the tension of becoming and passing.
