DANCE COMMANDER
Who’s Really Chasing You? Dance Commander’s Dark Riff Confession Answers In Three Words
Norwegian rock band Dance Commander explore the darker side of the human mind on “Always You and I,” a brooding, riff-driven track about being pursued by something you can’t outrun. Voices crowd in, the pressure builds, and the narrator keeps pushing forward through the dark until the song’s quiet revelation lands: “It was always you and I.” The chorus, built around the question “Why have you chosen me?”, is heavy, urgent and made for singing along. Rock, hard rock, alt rock and post rock come together in a song that turns inner struggle into something bold and cathartic. It’s a gripping new single for anyone who has ever had to face what’s been following them all along.
