THE SIRENS are a collaboration of two powerhouse Seattle/Tacoma artists, Jody Ellen and Tara Chugh. The duo’s debut single “Reverberations” is about being stuck in a relationship you refuse to get out of. Two people keep coming back to each other even though they know they’re so wrong for each other, “I took a hit and saved the bullet case”. Their toxic and twisted love reverberates and repeats, driving one another insane.
Tara shares, “I remember being ‘stuck’ in the worst relationship of my life for the fear of the other person finding someone else. The fear that the other person would finally change him and make him the man I wanted him to be. I was willing to hurt every single day for the fear of the unknown.
I wanted to add extreme vocals to convey the frustration and anger in my head. Aine did such an amazing job expressing all of the feelings I felt while writing this song.”
Teaming up with NJ rock-tronic producer Tiq Rags, THE SIRENS debut single, “Reverberations” is set to release on digital platforms on Thursday April 9th, 2026 featuring Aine Templeton of the band Capala.
Fusing dark alternative and pop-rock to create a hauntingly beautiful and epic soundscape, THE SIRENS are known for their evocative songwriting and powerful vocals in creating an intimate and intense experience similar to artists like Evanescence, Poppy, and Halsey.
Jody Ellen and Tara Chugh wrote the hit song, ‘Break Me’ which was up for consideration on the 2026 GRAMMY ® ️ballot, and was also regionally recognized as one of the Top Songs of 2025 on Seattle’s KISW 99.9 “The Rock” radio station.
