Speaking on this theme directly, the group shares, “excessive comments about people underestimating our performance based on being females tends to get annoying after a while. I think it’s very empowering to be an all-girl band.
We get to go up in front of people and play our music that we wrote, and hopefully inspire young girls to do the same. Despite the barriers that can be discouraging, it feels rewarding as a band to continue to perform and prove the point that anyone has the right to freely express themselves, no matter their gender identity, social status, sexual orientation, or background.”

In October 2022, The Anti Groupies self-released their first single, “Blessing In Disguise”, followed by “Social Battery” and “Voicemail” during the summer of 2023. With success from these singles, they began 2024 with the release of “Read the Room” followed by “Better Off”.
Their latest releases include the unapologetic “Cigarette Slut” and hard-hitting “I Can’t”. Their music videos on YouTube are well-received by the growing number of fans, with “I Can’t” and “Social Battery” reaching thousands of views in a short period of time.
