Grapeshot was born as a band formed in Madrid during Christmas 2010. With three records
under their belt they are a recognizable force on Spanish scene. Their latest release, an EP titled
“Oblivion” was released in November 2024.

Back in 2010, Esteban (vocalist) was excited to become partners with members of Elecktra (José A.
Poveda) and Terroristars (Marcos de la Calle), bands that he had heard and seen live a few years
before.

A few months later, in May 2011, they gave their first concert in Madrid. With a strong Groove and
Thrash base, the songs take on their own personality, with some southern and alternative metal
touches. They immediately recorded a first demo in the rehearsal room with 6 cuts of which they
made a short home run to sell at concerts and gain a foothold in the Madrid underground scene.

In 2012 their first studio work ‘Sons of Betrayal’ was released, a 4-song EP where the band is already
beginning to sound more compact and with a minimally decent production. One of their songs ‘Riots’
has a certain pull on YouTube and shortly after the band manages to reach the final of the Wacken
Metal Battle in Barcelona. After a couple of years of concerts, almost all of them in Madrid, some in
the Basque Country, Catalonia, Castilla la Mancha…

In 2014 they recorded their first studio LP ‘The Scene’, where they achieved a starker and more
extreme sound, calling for the first time the attention of some specialized media and managing to
leave the outskirts of Madrid on more than one occasion to demonstrate their forcefulness live. They
manage to win several band contests and sneak into festivals such as Metal Lorca and Arrastro Rock.

In 2017 they released ‘All About to End’ which represents a qualitative and professional leap. In the
following months Grapeshot will enter their most intense period of concerts, reaching the final of
Wacken Metal Battle one more time, this time being runners-up. That year we were able to see them
take the Granito Rock stage, being the sensation of the night, for many even above the headliners
Turisas.

Since then, the road and work on new compositions occupy most of the time for Grapeshot, who in
2020 begins to record his third studio LP, however the pandemic stops the production of the album
in its tracks until July 2020. Faced with a bleak outlook in the music industry, the album’s release on
the market is delayed until May 2021. ‘Suckcess’ takes them to tour a large part of the Iberian

geography, reaping notable success from critics and the public. ‘Suckcess’ represents the
consolidation of their style, with better production and more polarized sounds, which play with
extremes and with melodic and catchy parts.

In 2024 and with the new stable and consolidated lineup Grapeshot releases its new EP ‘Oblivion’ in
November. With 5 songs that show a good example of the band’s maturity, with effective songs that
play with new sounds, at times softer but also more abrasive, flirting with Sludge Metal or Southern
Rock if necessary. A work that marks the opening of a new era for Grapeshot.

masters in complex time signatures, virtuoso guitar & bass chops, and layered sonic landscapes. Their
music can be deliciously delicate and lovely, cheeky jazz fusion fun, or brutal death metal heavy.

of the weight of an anvil.

Recorded in Melbourne both at Danger Tone Studios and Alarum HQ, the album was mixed by Troy
McCosker at Audio Ninja Productions, and mastered by John Ruberto at Mastersound Studios.

Swedish rockmetallers SEVERE OVERBITE
present their first completely new single In

History
As teenagers in Östersund, Sweden, in the 80’s Håkan Mårtensson and Jonas Öhlund
played together in the bands REBELLION, BIRD OF PREY and GRIME CRIME. They were
inspired by NWOBHM and bands like Black Sabbath, Heavy Load, and Scorpions. GRIME
CRIME was featured on the compilation tape ROCK-DM 1986 with the song Struck by
lightning.
After the duo went their separate ways Håkan released a single with melodic AFTER
TWELVE in 1988. Jonas released a single in 1989 and a CD in 2008 with AOR band PRIDE.
His LINEHOUSE album, Take one, in 2009 was even more melodic.
Over the years Jonas had felt an urge to go back to the roots and play heavy metal again. In
2022 he recorded some of the old REBELLION songs and reached out to Håkan to see if he
was interested in doing the vocals. In 2023 eight songs, written between 1982 and 1985,
were recorded.
The album
In April 2024 Severe Overbite’s debut album was released on all streaming services by the
band themselves. “Living in poverty”, “Devil’s nest”, “Another world” and “The fight of the
knight” are REBELLION songs written in 1982-83. The BIRD OF PREY period 1983-84 are
featured through “Ritual of evil” and “Solar eclipse”. “Don’t turn away” were written in 1985 for
GRIME CRIME. “The Mountain” was a song that never got finished in the 80’s that Håkan
and Jonas completed in 2023.
New song
After the album’s release the band began working on new material that were recorded
during the autumn of 2024. Instead of working on a full length album it was decided
that two singles were to be released during the first half of 2025.
With the song ” Walk Your Own Way” the band continues on the beaten track with
songs inspired by NWOBHM filled with heavy riffs, twin guitars and catchy choruses.

Heavy/thrashers CONNIPTION promote their
fourth album with “Forever War” video, with
guest appearance of the DIAMOND HEAD vocalist

Conniption is an underground Metal/Rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA)
known for their energetic performances and a unique sound that blends various influences.
Their 2025 release, and 4th official record, ‘The Theatre of Invention,’ includes a featured
performance from Rasmus Bom Andersen, the singer of Diamond Head. It is as much a nod
to the past as it is a rocket to the future.
The members of Conniption are dedicated to creating a high-energy experience, and have
built a strong local reputation for their passionate performances.
They were sharing the stage with many top international bands, as well as some national
acts in the US. They put multiple songs on shows on Netflix and other streaming services,
sports TV spots (NHL and MLB Networks), movies, and top selling video games (“Tom Clancy’s
The Division 2″).
Their debut record, although the bandmembers themselves consider it today as a demo, was
put up in 2008. Two years later they gained international recognition thanks to the then-
blooming Rock It Up Records’ CD release.

Hailing from Mercer County, PA, Self Inflicted delivers a relentless assault of thrash metal,
drawing inspiration from the pioneers like Possessed, Obituary, Death, Atheist and

2025. This record showcases their evolution, blending the raw aggression of old-school thrash
with intricate riff changes, relentless solos, and a progressive edge.
A major milestone for the band was their album release show for Terrors of a Demented
Mind, where they shared the stage with Whorigami and Kitchen Knife Conspiracy, marking
one of their most explosive performances to date.
Based primarily in the Youngstown, Ohio metal scene, Self Inflicted frequently shares the
stage with local favorites, delivering high-energy performances that keep pits raging. Despite
just dropping their latest album, the band is already forging new material, keeping their
momentum unstoppable.
For fans of pure, unfiltered thrash with a modern twist, Self Inflicted is a band to keep an
