Today marks the official release of “Dirty Songs”, the brand new album by Acidground — a powerful collection that gathers and remasters all the tracks from their two EPs “2 Hands” and “Evil Blues”. This work takes the listener on a dark, raw, and intense journey through fragility, pain, and rebellion.
“Dirty Songs” brings together two souls:
- The melancholy and introspection of “2 Hands”, where the band delves into themes like depression, addiction, distant love, and misunderstandings that shatter relationships.
- The hypnotic power of “Evil Blues”, the manifesto of the project, featuring songs that range from the dirtiest grunge to distorted blues — culminating in a stunning reinterpretation of “Cry Little Sister”, the iconic theme from the cult film The Lost Boys.

VINS – The Soul of Acidground
Behind the voice and lyrics of Acidground stands Vins, stage name Bound (“tied”), founder and beating heart of the project. His musical journey is intense and multifaceted — from his early days at 18 performing in punk and rock cover bands, to experimenting with diverse genres such as pop, reggae, and extreme metal — all leading to the creation of a unique and versatile style.
In 2013, Vins met Fabrizio Sodaro, and together they created the EP “Rise The Sun”, a prototype of the sound that bridges Grunge and Stoner/Hard Rock. After years apart, fate brought them back together at a time when Vins had already composed all the tracks for what would become the two EPs now featured on “Dirty Songs”. Together, they decided to produce the album, defining the identity of Acidground: a powerful fusion of Grunge and Stoner/Dark Metal.
“Dirty Songs” is not just an album — it’s the sonic portrait of a tormented and rebellious soul, the raw and authentic diary of Acidground, ready to strike deep into anyone who dares to dive into their sound.
